Elaine Greene's Story
Helping animals have been my life long passion. Working in animal welfare was always my dream, which I have been very fortunate to live my dream. The Friends- staff and volunteers- are the most dedicated, hard working and compassionate people you will ever meet. Their work is inspiring and amazing and truly makes a difference for thousands of animals. The Friends deserve and need you help to to help the animals. Parking can be found at the Henry Ford Centennial Library and the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center parking lots. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. for the Friday, June 21 "Artists Unleased" concert, with the first of four acts starting at 7:30 p.m. and concluding at 10:30 p.m. The Saturday, June 23 street fair kicks off with a pack walk down Reckinger Rd. and a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m. The Sunday, June 23 adopt-a-thon runs 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
