At New Leash on Life, we believe no one should have to surrender a beloved pet because of hardship. That’s the heart behind our Paw Pantry, a monthly pet food assistance program created to support families facing financial struggles by providing dog and cat food to help them keep their pets at home and out of the shelter.

Thanks to generous support from community members and local businesses, our shelves are stocked with donated food each month. And now, thanks to Tito’s Handmade Vodka, the Vodka for Dog People - and cat people too, your gift will go even further, increasing our ability to support families not only with food, but also with basic supplies, toys, bowls, care essentials, and even flea prevention. The Paw Pantry is open Tuesday through Saturday from 2:00–4:30 PM at our Adoption Center. There’s no need to call ahead or make an appointment, just stop by and ask what we have available. First-time assistance is always offered, no questions asked, while supplies last. While Wilson County residents are our first priority, we help pet owners in surrounding areas when resources permit.
