If you are reading this, I already thank you for checking out Paws for the People as I was a shelter cat in Winchester who saved my human through SPCA's foster program that led to them keeping me furever! But you should also know, as the incumbent and FIRST Mayor of Taylor Pavilion, I must defend my title and continue to bring equity and inclusion to all four-legged friends alike (I do not advocate for the flying menace you may know as birds).
In my first year as Mayor, I won the SPCA Cat Mascot of the year and sponsored local cat cafe Biscuit and Beans' very first cat adoption. My team also collaborated with Hideaway Cafe on their One Plate, One Purpose initiative multiple times this year to help some of our human friends with food scarcity to make sure they had more time for scratchies and more money for treats! Some of you fine friends also bought me a birthday drink at Dividing Creek to raise $300 for our friends at Dakota's Dream and the Winchester SPCA.
And on our road to victory last year for the inaugural Paws for the People, my team raised over $2,600 to help with this incredible cause that brought in over $7,100 total. Why vote for me, again? Because I promise to continue my epic community engagement, will commit to being the funniest candidate in this competition (again!), and bringing you the most innovative, creative, and made-from-scratch campaign content that you have known me for over the last year!
