Ice machine and construction of associated enclosure – Cost $7,500, we already have one member offering a donation to purchase the ice machine.
Landscaping - $10,000+- in $2,500 chunks
Improvement of path to Courts 6 and 7 – Cost est. $10,000
Bleachers/seating and arbor next to Court 1 – Bleachers 2 x $3000.
Windscreen Replacement – Court 1. $8,165 less $1,200+ approved grant.
Conversion from 501c4 to 501c3 – IRS estimates 80 hours work for me.
Grants - San Diego District Tennis Council – 15% - 20% of court resurfacing and/or windscreens

The Pacific Beach Tennis Club has a rich history in the San Diego community. PBTC was founded in 1961 when a group headed by Dr. James Grant raised sufficient funds to construct six courts on land that the city of San Diego provided. Subsequently, a small clubhouse and two additional courts were added as well as the present lighting system.

PBTC’s mission is to provide a social experience that caters to people of all ages and abilities who share a passion for racquet sports including tennis and pickleball. PBTC’s programs are designed to create a welcoming environment for all types of players ranging from novice to advanced.

With the continued support from our members and local businesses we can continue to make club improvements needed to make this a haven for our members.
