I am participating in this campaign because I know that these donations help to provide for students with financial needs in affording chorus-related expenses like outfits, FairShare fees, and other possible student-specific costs. We will also fund booster budget needs like sheet music, practice tracks, piano maintenance, concert accompanists, program incentives, accounting and program management costs, team-building initiatives, etc. Since we are a busy group of opportunities, your donations will also help us cover travel subsidies, substitute teachers, guest instrumentalists, in-school clinicians, etc. This donation campaign's purpose is to minimize the out-of-pocket expenses for students in our program so that all students have the ability to equal access for high-quality resources and positive experiences in music.

Here's a little bit of information about me!

I am proud to be part of this program because it has provided a safe space for me to express myself, creates many exciting travel opportunities, is very welcoming and inclusive of new opinions, and is very adaptive and understanding of new students! In class, I have been learning how to effectively sightread & understand music, break down songs into melodies and rhythms, how to improve overall singing quality, and how to have fun at school! Outside of class, things I like to do include: piano,  hindustani classical singing, cricket, math, reading, traveling, drawing & origami. In the future, I have some of the following ambitions: working at NASA, learning different styles of cuisines, playing international-level cricket, and being happy!
