Panther Creek Chorus GiveButter Fundraising Campaign

The chorus at Panther Creek is a thriving music program that aims at helping students to increase in musical knowledge and performance skills while developing enduring relationships of substance. Students in this program put on 4 seasonal concerts at Panther Creek, but also perform at local events and in distant locations. Each year, we fundraise to help support our operating budget which has costs associated with instructional materials (sheet music, clinicians, online learning software, practice resources), assessment festivals, concert performances (accompanists, security, outfitting), and maintenance of sound equipment, pianos, etc. The related budget is about $16,000 for this school year alone. Generally, the budget is supported by concert ticket sales, FairShare student fees and direct fundraising. This campaign aims to fully fund this budget (first) while also providing additional subsidies for optional student travel (second).

The PCHS Choral Boosters is an official 501c3 charity and thus donations are tax-deductible! Our goal is for students to collect at least $100 in donations (each) to fully fund our needed expenses. Keep in mind, due to tax laws and non-profit policy, all money raised supports the entirety of the choral program, not just individual students.

Students will participate in “teams” that will compete for incentives/rewards for participation. Winning teams will receive tangible prizes, such as catered lunch, gift cards, etc. Fundraising keeps our FairShare as low as possible, and by doing a donation drive, no product sales are necessary. Help us to make this a very effective campaign so no further fundraising is necessary this year!
