At Peerbots, we're building social robots for everyone, powered by experts. We recognize that social robots are still a novel field for many. So, we've begun creating free and open source curricula for teaching about social robots in partnership with Peer 2 Peer University and Code Grow. We develop curricula informed by social robotics research.

We have already developed and are currently piloting a general Introduction to Social Robotics Curriculum that guides learners to design a robot character and build an interactive social robot prototype. We will use our findings from this pilot to develop additional curricula for teaching about social robotics. Each curriculum is targeted at a particular way in which people may want to use social robots such as gardening, theatre, or even hardware design.

These curricula can be tailored to different groups and can be used to support summer school camps, library workshops, or even be included as part of interactive university teaching.

This campaign supports Peerbots in creating, evaluating, and maintaining these curricula.
