Every girl deserves dignity.

Imagine being 13 years old and getting your period on a Saturday. There's no school nurse to ask. No product in the bathroom. And no money to buy one at the store. So you stay home for the weekend. You wait it out alone — and hope next time is different.

That's the reality for 1 in 4 girls in Utah who can't afford period products.

Period poverty isn't just an inconvenience. It means missed opportunities, quiet shame, and even health issues that go unaddressed.

Here in Utah, we passed a law to make sure girls have access to period products at school. But the need doesn't stop at the school door. Girls need these products at home, on weekends, over the summer. All year long.

That's why this May, The Policy Project's Impact Teams are raising money for period products to distribute to girls in their community who need them most. Just $25 covers 100 products, but every dollar makes a difference.
