Persist Nashville's Sunrise to Success breakfast returns for its highly anticipated second year on Wednesday, August 27th, 2025. Last year's inaugural event exceeded all expectations, bringing together Nashville's most dedicated education advocates and featuring an exceptional panel led by moderator Jerome Moore, founder of Explore Social Change. The distinguished speakers included Dr. Agenia Clark, President of Fisk University; Karla MacIntyre, Corporate Social Responsibility Manager for Asurion; and Juan Escamilla Vargas, a Persist Student Leader from Belmont University. Their powerful conversation illuminated both the challenges and triumphs of first-generation college students, creating meaningful connections between sponsors and the students they empower. It was a great morning of building community and comradery.
