The childcare program offers a safe, engaging, and spiritually enriching experience for children ages 4–10. Led by professional and experienced staff from Playtime Event Sitters, children will be in a safe and nurturing environment while enjoying a variety of surprise activities that promote creativity, character building, teamwork, and fun—all rooted in Islamic values. With a balance of indoor and outdoor play, interactive projects, and gentle spiritual moments, kids will be well cared for and make meaningful memories throughout the weekend. The program includes supervised care, engaging Islamic-themed activities, and lunch each day.

Childcare – $30/day Please choose the correct ticket at check out. If you are registering your child for both days, choose both the Saturday and Sunday ticket.

Pre-Marital Workshop

This interactive session offers a thoughtful and practical exploration of the premarital process in Islam, inspired by the example of the Prophetic family. It is designed for individuals preparing for marriage, as well as parents who want to support their children through this critical stage with Islamic wisdom and clarity.

Facilitated by a husband-and-wife team with 28 years of marriage and over two decades of community-based premarital guidance, the session combines deep faith with lived experience. Topics include the purpose of marriage in Islam, how to approach spouse selection, and navigating expectations and differences during the premarital phase—all within the realities of the American cultural landscape.

The session will conclude with an open Q&A, providing a safe and respectful space for participants to ask questions and engage in meaningful discussion about the journey to marriage.
Special Needs Parenting Workshop

This interactive workshop is designed to empower parents and caregivers of children with special needs. The session begins with a 30–45 minute presentation covering key concepts and resources. Participants will then rotate through three breakout discussions focused on:
1. School Support – Understanding IEPs and how to advocate for your child
2. Therapies & Interventions – Exploring available therapies and treatment options
3. Navigating Services – An overview of the Community Services Board (CSB), CSA, and Medicaid waivers
With time for Q&A and peer support, this 2-hour session provides practical tools and guidance for families navigating the special education and support system.

Ustadha Heba El-Haddad
Licensed clinical psychologist; Director, Khalil Center (Bay Area); Co-author of Applying Islamic Principles to Clinical Mental Health Care. A national voice on Islamic mental health.

Dr. Zainab Alwani
Professor of Islamic Studies, Howard University; Vice-Chair, Fiqh Council of North America. An expert in Qur’anic ethics, family law, and maqāṣid-based legal theory.
