No family should have to navigate a rare condition alone. Rare Hope began with Nina, a mother whose child lives with PFIC, a group of rare genetic liver disorders. Her family’s experience revealed a difficult pattern: while already carrying an overwhelming load, families are often left to piece together information, support, and practical next steps on their own. Rare Hope turns one family’s hard-earned journey into a clearer starting point for the next. PFIC is our first pathway. We organize trusted resources and direct families to established organizations while staying firmly in our lane: navigation and connection, never medical advice. This fundraiser has one simple purpose: generate direct, trackable support for PFIC Network and the PFIC community. Donations made through this page go to PFIC Network; Rare Hope does not receive or handle the money. Our first milestone is $10,000 in completed donations through this fundraiser.
