Delainie, affectionately known as Dee, possessed an exceptional passion for photography. Her unique ability to capture the extraordinary in the ordinary left those who knew her in awe. She would often be found, camera in hand, gracefully framing the unseen, and then, with a triumphant smile, she would present an astonishing image, leaving her audience to ponder. "How did you ever see that?" Her capacity to think beyond the conventional was truly remarkable.

Tragically, Delainie's life was cut short, but her legacy lives on through the Photos for Dee Scholarship. This scholarship is a testament to her extraordinary talent for thinking outside the box. Open to high school seniors or “13th” year students (under the age of 20) who desire to further their education via traditional college or any trade school. This scholarship requires an essay and photo style submission. Open to students in Idaho, Utah and Wyoming.
