Every year, just before the school year begins, we host a heartwarming Back-to-School event for the kids at Kingdom Academy in Cuna Maya—a small but growing community just outside Cancun, Mexico.

This isn’t your typical school supply giveaway. It’s a celebration of learning, community, and hope.

Why We Do It

Many of the students who attend Kingdom Academy in Cuna Maya come from families that face financial challenges. Basic school supplies, backpacks, and uniforms can become a burden. We believe that every child deserves to start the school year with confidence, excitement, and the tools they need to succeed.

What the Event Includes

Each year, we host the event at Kingdom Academy, gathering students and their families for a joyful day of giving. Kids receive:

Backpacks filled with supplies like notebooks, pencils, scissors, and crayons
A hearty meal to fill their bellies with a tasty dessert.
A fun celebration where they can meet their teachers, reconnect with friends, and enjoy a treat

What We Still Need

We’re still in need of generous sponsors to help bring this year’s Back-to-School event at Kingdom Academy to life. While the school supplies are covered, we’re looking for support with items that make the day truly special like food, desserts, appetizers, table rentals, décor, photography, and florals. These details may seem small, but they help create a joyful, memorable experience for the kids and their families.
