Pickleball for P.U.N.T. is a pickleball tournament and day of fun that is open to all skill levels! Select a draw to register for, set a fundraising goal, and encourage/challenge those in your own network to make a difference by supporting your participation!

This year, Pickleball for P.U.N.T. will take place during our 1st Annual Hearts of Gold Family Fest, combining our annual Walk & Roll: Walk a Mile in the Shoes of Families Facing Pediatric Cancer, Pickleball for P.U.N.T., Adrian's Midway Magic: A Carnival Legacy Event Remembering Adrian Gomez, and a vendor fair, live performances, basket raffles, character appearances, and more! Join us in closing out Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month with a day full of family fun for a great cause!

Net proceeds from the entire event will support P.U.N.T. Pediatric Cancer Collaborative; which offers critical and comprehensive financial, emotional, and practical support to families facing a pediatric cancer diagnosis, and serve as a source of hope and healing for the bereaved in Western New York.

Registration Instructions:

Pick the division that best suits your skill level when purchasing your ticket. Information on USA Pickleball Skill Levels can be found here: https://usapickleball.org/skill-level/

Tournament format: Doubles teams will be randomly divided into pools and play round-robin matches within their pool ("The Qualifiers"). Then, top performers from each pool will advance to a single-elimination bracket, where they will compete until a champion is determined.

Social division (2.5 and below): This division is designed for players who are newer to pickleball or play primarily for fun. Participants understand the basic rules, can keep score, sustain shorter rallies, and are continuing to develop consistency with serves, returns, and overall shot control.

Intermediate division (3.0 - 3.5): This division is for players who have a solid understanding of the game and can sustain rallies with consistency. Players serve and return reliably, understand kitchen strategy, are developing third-shot drops and dinking, and are beginning to play with more intentional shot selection and court positioning.

Competitive division (4.0+): This division is intended for experienced, highly competitive players with strong consistency and strategy. Players can reliably execute third-shot drops, resets, dinks, volleys, and overheads while demonstrating excellent court positioning and teamwork.

The tournament will be held in the outdoor rink area at Buffalo RiverWorks. Spectators are welcome!
