In a world that often keeps us busy, distracted, and disconnected, Bloom Together is an invitation to slow down, be present, and invest in the relationships that matter most.

This year's Picnic with a Purpose is designed to bring mothers, daughters, caregivers, mentors, and the girls they love together for a meaningful afternoon of connection, reflection, movement, and community impact.

Through intentional conversations, engaging activities, mindfulness practices, and shared experiences, we will strengthen bonds, nurture emotional well-being, and create lasting memories in a supportive and uplifting environment.

But our purpose extends beyond the picnic blanket.

As part of our commitment to serving others, we will partner with 4 local schools to create self- care packages for teachers, recognizing the dedication, compassion, and countless hours educators invest in helping our children learn, grow, and thrive. Together, we'll model the power of gratitude, service, and community for the next generation.

Our Purpose

At Girls Growing Gracefully, we believe healthy relationships are cultivated through intentional experiences that encourage connection, confidence, communication, and community.

How to Prepare

One of our favorite Picnic with a Purpose traditions is inviting mothers and daughters (or caregivers and the girls they love) to prepare a special lunch together before the event.

We encourage you to use this as an opportunity to slow down, connect, and create a meaningful moment together. Whether it's making sandwiches, assembling a charcuterie-style lunch, preparing a favorite family recipe, or packing healthy picnic favorites, the goal isn't perfection—it's connection.

What to Wear/Bring

Because we'll be participating in a mindful nature hike, we recommend dressing comfortably and appropriately for the weather.

A special picnic lunch that you prepared together

A yoga mat, large towel or small blanket

We'll provide additional snacks, beverages, and treats for everyone to enjoy.

Teacher Self-Care Basket Initiative

This year, we're inviting attendees to help us honor and encourage local educators through our Teacher Appreciation Self-Care Basket Initiative.

Suggested items include mugs, tea or coffee, candles and gift cards. You may also make a tax deductible donation that we will use to purchase items for the basket. We appreciate your support
