For 2026, we're excited to announce a new venue and race course: the Montlake Cut. This iconic stretch of water provides a safer, more predictable racing environment while preserving everything that makes Pink Ribbon Row special—bringing our rowing community together to support local breast cancer patients, survivors, and their families. Pink Ribbon Row is not just another regatta. It is a day when our rowing community comes together with one shared purpose: to support those whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer.

Known for our tenacity, teamwork, and passion for the sport, rowers embrace challenges. We chase better technique, greater speed, and stronger crews. But once each year, we set our competitive goals aside to compete for something far more important—our friends, neighbors, teammates, and loved ones.

Together, we are leaving breast cancer in our wake!

A Legacy of Giving

Twenty-seven years ago, Penny Lewis envisioned an event that would unite the rowing community around a cause bigger than racing. She believed rowers possessed the grit, determination, and teamwork needed to make a lasting impact in the fight against breast cancer.

That vision continues today.

Every dollar raised at this event goes to the Pink Ribbon Row Foundation. The Foundation supports Puget Sound area healthcare organizations focused on:

Early detection and screening
Post-diagnosis support and recovery

To date, more than $1.6 MILLION has been raised and kept local to benefit those here in the Puget Sound area.
