Pre-Event Check-in starts at 10am Friday, August 1, 2025 at Melges Real Estate (233 Center St. Lake Geneva). Your start location is determined by your pledged length of walk: Hope Route: Flat Iron Park (Lake Geneva) to Edgewater Park (Williams Bay) - Approx. 6.5 miles * Wellness Route: Reid Park (Fontana) to Library/Elm Park (Lake Geneva) - Approx. 9.6 miles ** Strength Route: Flat Iron Park (Lake Geneva) to Library/Elm Park (Lake Geneva) - Approx. 26 miles *** *Check-in is 8:00-9:00 AM at 233 Center St, Lake Geneva **Check-in is 8:00-9:00 AM at Reid Park, Fontana ***Check-in is 7:00-8:00 AM at 233 Center St, Lake Geneva When registering, please let us know which walk you plan to take by the ticket you purchase (the ticket price is the same regardless of walking distance.) This is important, so you'll check-in and receive your walk package at the right location (unless you pre-check in the day prior at 233 Center St. Lake Geneva.) The walk package consists of a pink t-shirt, pink wristband, event map and medal. The t-shirt and wristband are to be worn during the walkathon. The map includes information regarding bathrooms, water stations, as well as emergency phone numbers and participating businesses offering discounts to walkers weekend of the event. Street Parking near the lake is metered, but a few blocks from downtown there is plenty of free street parking. Suggested Attire: The morning may be cool but an August summer day is most likely hot and humid. Bring a refillable water bottle and some energy snacks, extra socks and sturdy walking shoes, as well as SPF sunscreen. The event is rain or shine. However, if there's sustained heavy rain or lightening, the event is cancelled. Monies will be donated to the charities regardless of event cancellation. No refunds. All participants are required to sign a liability waiver. **Walk at your own risk** Path is not wheelchair accessible; it has uneven terrain. No dogs or bikes allowed.
