St. Bernadette's Annual Filipino Dinner theme is Pistang PagkaPinoy! Join us on April 18, from 6pm-9pm for food, entertainment and Karayoke! Bring the whole family for a night of fun, celebrating the Mabuhay spirit with music, great company, great food (Lechon!), and raising support for our school! All proceeds of this event go directly to St. Bernadette Parish School, supporting our students and their education!

In Filipino culture, the table is never just about food. It’s where stories are shared, generations gather, and no one leaves hungry—of body or spirit. When a pot of adobo is set down or rice is passed around, it’s an unspoken invitation: You belong here. This same spirit lives at St. Bernadette.

Every day, students arrive with different stories, different strengths, and different needs—but they are met with care, encouragement, and a community that believes in them. Just like a Filipino family meal, what makes our school special isn’t one ingredient alone—it’s how everything comes together.

This year's Filipino Dinner is our way of bringing that spirit to life.

The funds raised will touch every student—supporting classroom resources, enrichment programs, community events, and the people who make learning feel personal and joyful. Whether a child is just beginning their educational journey or preparing for what’s next, this support helps ensure they are seen, challenged, and cared for. Last year, our community showed what’s possible when we come together. This year, we’re setting the table a little wider.

By sharing a meal, inviting friends, and giving generously, we can exceed last year’s fundraising total and continue building a school where every student thrives—not just academically, but as a whole person. We're Looking for many donations to make this event a successful! We have many volunteer opportunities available. Please go to St. Bernadette School: Filipino Dinner - April 18 to sign up for a volunteer position! Salamat Po!

St. Bernadette Parent Club is led by parents and guardians of the school families. We are a home base for the school's volunteer and fundraising. The Parent Club, supported by the School Commission, functions primarily to foster community between the school, parish, and home. Parent Club contributes to the school’s operating costs by leading fundraising efforts and events during the school year.
