Story

Join us on May 11, 2023, at ETSU's Martin Center (Black Box Theatre) for our 2023 Problem Solving Pitches event, where nine local nonprofit organizations will present live pitches aimed at solving our communities most pressing needs. Three of the six pitching organizations will each be awarded $10,000 grants from our Social Innovation Fund, while three additional grants focused on education, totaling $10,000, will be given out to support our Tennessee Afterschool Network (TAN) organizations.

The Social Innovation Fund was established by United Way of East TN Highlands in 2020 to support new programs that address social needs and fill gaps in our community related to health, education, or financial stability.
