Our Story

Stronger Roots was created from a simple belief: when women and mothers are supported, families become stronger.

Many women are carrying the weight of trying to work, raise children, manage bills, find reliable childcare, protect their mental health, and create stability for their families — often with limited support and very few resources. For mothers especially, one missing piece can affect everything. Without dependable childcare, it becomes harder to work. Without financial education, it becomes harder to plan. Without mental wellness support, the stress of survival can become overwhelming.

Stronger Roots was created to help fill those gaps.

Our mission is to empower women and mothers to thrive by removing barriers to stability through childcare support, financial literacy, and mental health resources — creating pathways to healing, confidence, and self-sufficiency.

We are newly active and just beginning our journey. We have not yet received funding or launched programs, which is why this first campaign is so important. Your support will help us build the foundation needed to begin serving women and mothers in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Funds from this campaign will help support startup needs such as outreach materials, intake tools, workshop preparation, community partnership development, resource navigation, wellness materials, and early program planning.

This is more than a fundraiser. This is the beginning of Stronger Roots.
