Who We Are

The Healing Garden Project builds spaces where people can slow down, reconnect, and begin to heal.

We create gardens in communities where access to peace, fresh food, and safe outdoor spaces is limited. The gardens we create serve caregivers, families, survivors, and individuals navigating stress, grief, illness, and everyday life challenges.

These gardens offer something many people don’t have — a place to breathe.

Why This Work Matters

Healing doesn’t only happen in hospitals or therapy rooms.
Sometimes it starts outside, with fresh air, soil in your hands, and a moment of calm.

Research continues to show that time in nature can reduce stress, ease anxiety, and support emotional well-being.

But many under-resourced communities don’t have access to safe, welcoming green spaces.
