OUR MISSION

We envision a Great Plains region where every child thrives and every caregiver feels seen, supported, and inspired throughout the early childhood journey. The museum is a joyful gathering place that strengthens community ties by bringing families together, elevating local pride, and serving as a vital community resource families can return to again and again.

PLAY MOBILE

One of our biggest limitations short-term without a building to invite families and children to, we are limited to what we can fit in a board members vehicle or by renting a U-Haul Truck. That's why we have set a goal to fund a Play Mobile Trailer for 2027. With your support, we hope to pack a pull-behind trailer with intentional activities that can be played with both inside the trailer and outside the trailer. Some examples of play to expect;

Light
Air
Construction
Nature
Sensory
Pretend
and MORE!!

How will it work?

Depending on the demand, we hope to offer mobile Play opportunities to daycares, schools, groups, parties, and events. As a non-profit, we will work to ensure our offerings are as affordable and accessible as possible while maintaining sustainability for our organization. Early supporters of this campaign will be eligible for first priority on bookings for 2027.

What does the goal of $50,000 cover?

Enclosed Snowmobile Style Trailer that has both a front and rear drop-down door. Approx. 50% of the goal - If you know an organization willing to donate a trailer, even better!!! Please let us know at info@greatplainscm.com
Trailer Wrap - the decal on the outside of the trailer
Interior Fit-out : Flooring, lighting, electrical, wall coverings, etc.
Play materials - Air tubes, ramps, sensory materials, etc
Functional materials - generator, trailer hitch, storage, etc.

Other Ways to Help
