Louisiana Key Academy (LKA) is a tuition-free, public charter school dedicated to educating and empowering students with dyslexia. Established in 2013, LKA proudly serves communities across Louisiana—including Baton Rouge, Caddo, and Covington. At LKA, our whole-child approach goes beyond academics excellence to promote physical well-being and character development—preparing students for lifelong success. Our evidence-based school model is grounded in the latest research and is featured in Overcoming Dyslexia (2nd Edition) as a gold standard for dyslexia education. In partnership with the Yale Center for Dyslexia & Creativity, we translate cutting-edge science into classroom practice—ensuring every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
