Beau's Buds (the non-profit leg of Louis Flower Power) has teamed up with The Break Room, Sweet Leaf Garage, and Hound 96.1 to bring you X-Mas in July, a poker run and event to benefit the Kentucky Children's Hospital and their Child Life Program.

In December we host a charity dinner for the Kentucky Children's Hospital’s Winter Wonderland Toy Drive, which allows families and caregivers to "shop" at no cost for gifts for children that are hospitalized during the holidays, and their siblings. Surplus donations are then used by the Child Life Program the rest of the year to enrich and celebrate pediatric patients during difficult times and milestones during their stay.

Unfortunately funds and toys are mostly depleted by July, so we invite you to join us for our Christmas in July event to raise money and donations for the program. As part of the event we will be hosting a poker run where participants will visit 5 businesses to collect cards, ending at the Breakroom with live music, food, raffles, auctions, a dunk tank, and more! You don’t have to be a part of the poker run to enjoy the fun!

Check in is at 10 am, July 13th at The Break Room, 1178 Manchester St. Participants will visit 4 local spots to pick up playing cards including Boonedogs, "River Farm", Jake's Cigar Bar and Wallace Station and ending back at The Break Room (about 75 miles round trip) before 5 pm. Best hand will be chosen at 5 with a 30/70 split with Kentucky Children's Hospital.
