Did you know Arizonans give over $66 million in federal tax dollars to Israel every year?

Israel, a wealthy industrial state, boasts universal healthcare, low-cost universities, and free childcare for its citizens—a privilege not extended to Americans. Yet, our government finds no trouble giving Israel over $3 billion a year for its military -- a military that has killed more than 35,000 Palestinian civilians in the past six months alone.

Arizona, we are part of this equation. Out of this $3bn sent yearly, Arizonans contribute an estimated $66 million a year through our federal tax dollars. That's money that could be spent investing in Arizona and its communities.

Adding to the injustice, Congress and Biden are sending billions more to sustain Israel's military campaign against Palestinians.

Does that sound like the best way to spend taxpayer funds?

The reality is that most Americans don't know that our tax dollars are substantially helping in the genocide and starvation of 2 million Palestinians in Gaza, and without our consent! It's a high financial cost with an even higher human cost.

Arizona Muslim Alliance is on a mission to educate Arizonans about how we unwillingly give millions to a foreign state that's been accused by multiple human rights organizations and governments of committing war crimes and human rights abuses.

Empower Arizonans to contact their elected officials to demand American financial divestment from Israel

About AMA's Gaza Efforts

This postcard campaign is one of our latest initiatives in raising awareness for Gaza. The AMA has taken on this responsibility to advocate for Arizona Muslims who refuse to remain silent in the face of unfolding genocide.

We have steadfastly advocated for justice in Palestine through various avenues. Our previous Gaza awareness projects included freeway billboards that reached 20 million motorists and a mobile billboard truck that covered over 4,000 miles across Arizona. Additionally, we support and organize the local phone bank for Palestine, a group aimed at mobilizing Arizonans to call elected officials and demand a ceasefire. To date, the Arizona Muslim & Allies Phone Bank for Palestine WhatsApp group has made over 12,000 phone calls to Arizona senators and representatives.
