Skate AC has grown from a grassroots Atlantic City organization into a nonprofit working to create skateboarding opportunities, youth programs, events, and new skateparks in communities throughout New Jersey and beyond.

Building a skatepark takes more than concrete and ramps. It takes months — sometimes years — of meetings, designs, contracts, fundraising, partnerships, permits, community outreach, and project management. Providing free programming requires instructors, insurance, equipment, scheduling, outreach, and organization.
