Organized by The Sisters Lifting as We Climb Network
Story
Thank you for your continued support!
Can you believe that in September, the Sisters Lifting as We Climb Network will be turning 8?
The number 8 signifies new beginnings. Our organization recently became a 501c3 with an updated mission:
At the Sisters Lifting as We Climb Network, we are a trusted community of support and accountability to support Black Women in improving their quality of life. Additionally, we provide Black women opportunities to enhance their personal and professional development and expand their network locally, nationally, and internationally.
This is achieved by providing programming such as healing spaces to address underlying trauma, safe spaces for Black Women to obtain support and professional connections such as sponsorship for coaching and professional development, platforms to promote business owners by Black Women and showcase expertise, and providing capacity support to Black Women led organizations serving Black Women.
We work across the local government, corporate, nonprofit, and academic sectors to influence the creation of sustainable solutions that impact Black Women and marginalized communities. - Check out this recent article in the New Pittsburgh Courier, highlighting our work: ‘Sisters Lifting As We Climb Network’ becoming more influential in Pittsburgh region
We're very excited to involve our community in our latest fundraising efforts.
To meet our fundraising goal, it will truly take a village.
Can we count on you to become a member of our "Power100"?
