In celebration of National Recovery Month, RecoveryPeople is partnering with Homeward Bound, Inc. to host a screening of the third installment of the Humanly Possible Film Series for the community on September 23, 2026 in Dallas, Texas.

HUMANLY POSSIBLE is a documentary series that spotlights Texans in recovery from mental health and substance use issues who have used their journey to help others. Humanly Possible Episode 3 takes audiences to Dallas, Texas - where people draw on their lived experience to inspire hope, connect others with the support they need, and build fulfilling careers.

The film follows trained peer specialists as they help individuals navigate mental health and substance use challenges, homelessness, and involvement in the criminal justice system. Audiences will meet people who once received recovery services and now lead the very programs that helped transform their lives. The episode also explores how judges, organizational leaders, and community partners are working together to divert people from jail and connect them with treatment, peer support, housing, and pathways to long-term recovery.
