Join us for an exciting event all about food preservation methods on Thursday, July 11th from 5:30pm-7pm. We will delve into both the timeless practices of the ancient world and the cutting-edge practices of the modern world. During the event we will tour the composting operation at Frey Florist, hear about preservation techniques from JWU’s Professor Branden Lewis, and make canned goods to take home and try. Come prepared for a thought-provoking discussion that will shed light on the evolution of food preservation and its impact on our culinary traditions and food security!
