Conflict Is Inevitable. Violence Doesn’t Have to Be.

Every day, small misunderstandings in our homes, schools, and neighborhoods can escalate into broken relationships, systemic cycles of violence, or costly legal battles. Too often, support arrives only after the damage is done.

At the Haile Selassie I the First Foundation for Law and Society (HSFFLS), we believe in stopping the spark before it becomes a fire.

Grounded in the timeless teachings and international peace-building legacy of His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie I, the Prince of Peace Conflict Resolution Program advances education, early intervention, and practical tools that help people navigate differences peacefully, long before they lead to injury, litigation, or harm.

What We Do

Peace is not merely the absence of tension, it is the active development of practical skills. The Prince of Peace Conflict Resolution Program serves youth, schools, families, Rastafari and Pan-African communities, community organizations, and legally underserved populations through:

School-Based Programming: Teaching youth emotional awareness, de-escalation, and non-violent communication skills early in life.
Community & Family Workshops: Providing practical dispute resolution tools to strengthen family bonds and maintain neighborhood stability.
Online Education & Mediation Resources: Delivering accessible digital resources to legally underserved communities who lack affordable access to conflict resolution mechanisms.
Lasting Local Capacity: Training community leaders and facilitators to establish long-term, self-sustaining practices of peace.

Why Your Support Matters Today

By helping us reach our $5,000 goal, you directly invest in proactive prevention over crisis response. Your gift powers essential youth peace-building materials, family restorative workshops, and online mediation resources for underserved communities, equipping local leaders to stop conflict before it escalates.

We invite you to make a gift today and share this campaign with anyone who believes peace is the true foundation of a thriving society. Together, we can ensure every individual has access to the tools needed for peaceful resolution.

Thank you for helping us turn the promise of peace into a reality.
