Spend your Sunday with us. Hang out with some rockstars (literally), help a really remarkable cause, and help children experiencing homelessness see themselves in literature! Join us online for a special live reading of Priscilla the Princess of the Park. A book by Pat LaMarche illustrated by Bonnie Tweedy Shaw.

Through Priscilla’s eyes, kids aged 8 to 80 learn about homelessness with compassion and understanding.

Two dozen compassionate souls - world class musicians (Stelth Ulvang & Head Roc), comedians (Gary Gulman), athletes & activists (Chris Kluwe), homeless advocates (DeBorah Gilbert White & Diane Nilan), children's education advocates (Christina Endres & Sonia PItzi) - well you're getting the point - will read this critically acclaimed story from beginning to end.

Superbly produced by Max Donnelly, this virtual event will bring the story to life with live narration, illustrations from the book, and engaging visuals created for an online audience. (Max is gonna dazzle us with special effects!) You can pay whatever is comfortable for these tickets. All the proceeds will support the Homeless Memorial Blanket Project, which collects and creates an annual public display of handmade blankets (more than a thousand each year) to raise awareness about homelessness. Following the display, those blankets are lovingly folded and distributed to individuals and families who need them.

If you can't afford a ticket - please join us anyway. This discussion is too important to exclude anyone!

Come listen, connect, and turn a meaningful story into warmth and support for someone experiencing homelessness.Learn more about the project at MemorialBlanket.org.
