The ECCC Program Summit brings together summer camp professionals for an exciting opportunity to reflect on the past summer, exchange resources, cultivate innovation, build connections, and enjoy a sense of community.

Program Summit is for anyone who has a hand in creating programming for or staffing camp. You do not need to have a certain job title to attend but here are some positions that have found Program Summit helpful: Camp Director, Executive Director, Program Director, Session Director, Activity Lead, Diocesan Youth Coordinator, Counselor looking to learn more about what goes into running camp.

Program Summit 2026 will be held at Paradise Point Camp located in McCall, Idaho.

Theme and Programming: "Tell the Story of your Summer" Bring your photos, survey data, and stories of the camping season. During collaborative work blocks with expert support you'll transform that information into stories of impact. Learn interviewing techniques to get the great anecdotes from staff before they fade from memory. Build summer recap slideshows for websites, mine surveys for actionable insights, and get ready to share your camp's story with multiple stakeholder audiences. There will also be dedicated time for fellowship, worship, and wellness.

Travel info: If you are flying in and would like transport to Paradise Point, please fly to Boise (BOI). Plan to arrive no later than 4PM on Sunday, September 13th if using our airport shuttles (earlier the better). Departure shuttles will leave Paradise Point by 10am on Wednesday, September 16th. Plan for departure flights no earlier than 1:30PM if using our airport shuttle. Travel time between Boise and Paradise Point Camp is approximately 3 hours.

Additional Options: Optional central Idaho exploration (full day) on Wednesday, September 16th. Hiking, hot springs, and having a ball. Lunch, dinner and hot springs tickets included. Transportation to Boise post-trip and overnight lodging options will be coordinated based on numbers of participants.

Scholarship Information: ECCC maintains two event scholarship funds, one for members of underrepresented groups in Christian camping (including, but not limited to race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identification, or as a non-native English speaker), the EDI fund, and one for those needing additional financial support to pursue continuing education, the Leadership Development Fund.
