We've OFFICIALLY hit our goal! We are currently in the process of purchasing the 27th 7th Ave. N building. If you would still like to donate towards this mission, we will still need financial help to get everything going! We have a lot of plans for the space and we're so excited to finally start the next steps toward opening a sober & all ages venue + community supported coffee shop + education space. THANK YOU for all of your support in the last few months! We're happy to share that things are moving, and we've changed our focus from CFD to buying the building. There are still a lot of moving pieces and we're still a bit out from finalizing everything, but we're all working hard to make this happen!

We will share more details as we have them. Changing our focus to buying the building modifies our plans and budgets, but opens up a lot more possibilities for the future of our all ages & sober music venue, coffee shop, and educational space. As we reach those final steps, we'll share as much as we can!

We’ve officially given our intent to get the previous Oblivion Coffeebar building at 27 7th Ave N. We’re so grateful to Hailey Koep for working directly with us and helping us every step of the way. Below, we're including a rough estimation of our costs to get into the building.

Building rent/CFD initial costs: $12,000

Equipment & furniture: $35,000

Remodeling & opening up a staircase: $20,000

Getting the coffeeshop ready to open: $4,000

Licenses, inspection, survey, and other costs: $4,000

THIS IS HAPPENING FAST! We have to raise $75,000 by December 1st, or we may lose our opportunity to own the building. There are more details about this that we’re still working out, but this is our deadline. That’s why this is so important for us to do right now. We are hosting a public fundraiser in the building (27 7th Ave N.) on Saturday, November 16th! The event will run from 6pm-8pm with music, talks, desserts, and a small presentation to let you know where we’re at with the process and what we still need

A building, a coffee shop, and all their upkeep is going to be incredibly expensive, but we know that this is what our community needs. THANK YOU for supporting us so far! UPDATE: We found a venue! We're putting a huge ask out there for our community to support us. We'll release final numbers VERY soon, but this $75,000 is a rough estimate of the costs of acquiring the building and getting us off of our feet for those first few months.

Project 37 is a branch of the Independent Music Collaborative of Central Minnesota (IMCCM), a 501 (c)(3) non-profit, and has spent the last two years in Central MN hosting shows and opportunities for musicians of all ages and backgrounds to perform in safe and sober environments. We've hosted shows at local restaurants, coffee shops, music venues, a record store, and a private skate park, with show types ranging from our reoccurring Punk Nights to solo artist Singer-Songwriter showcases! Inspired by the legacy of all-ages venues like the Java Joint, Java Z, or the Garage in Burnsville, we want to find our very own venue to call home.

Our hope is to have an all-ages and sober venue in or nearby downtown St. Cloud. Not only would we provide music every weekend, but we plan to provide programming and a variety of events as well. We'd love to host classes for everyone from school age to adults in order to learn different skills associated with making or recording music. We'd also love to provide after-school programming and help students find their third space that so many of them are lacking.
