Big Bend is one of the last truly wild places in America — 1,500-foot river canyons, the darkest night skies of any national park in the lower 48, and wildlife corridors that jaguars, black bears, and hundreds of migratory species depend on. This land is held in public trust for all of us, and it is at a crossroads: proposed border-wall construction and mounting development pressure threaten to fragment the corridors that hold this ecosystem together.

The Big Bend Protection Alliance is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 41-4611124) working to keep Big Bend wild through community education, research, and lawful advocacy. Our coalition maintains a public research library of 827+ verified government sources, runs a 24/7 information hotline, and helps Americans in all 50 states make their voices heard on decisions affecting their public lands. The approach works — public pressure has already contributed to two planned wall projects being removed from the federal border map.
