The Westminster Chorus is thrilled to host an unforgettable afternoon of music, learning, and harmony, live at The Plaza Theater in downtown Palm Springs, California!

Middle school and high school students are invited to explore the exciting world of a cappella singing and discover the rich tradition of barbershop harmony.

Clinician quartets Far Western District Champions "The Seventh Variety" and Region 11 Champions "Valkyries" along with Westminster chorus Music team leaders will demonstrate barbershop quartet singing at its finest, then coach attendees on the basics of barbershop harmony.

This is an experiential workshop - you will rehearse a song to perform in quartets as well as all together as a chorus.
You'll also get to perform it on stage with The Westminster Chorus on the 7 PM Westminster Chorus Live! show (also at The Plaza Theatre.

Bonus: Top 10 International quartet Smoke Ring from NYC will make a special appearance to perform at the workshop!

This workshop is a unique opportunity to sing, connect, and grow as a young singer in Southern California.

Whether you're new to a cappella or already love to sing, this Youth Harmony Festival will be an enriching experience for both students and educators.

What to Expect
Lots of singing, lots of fun. Music and part tracks will be provided for students as a learning resource before event.
The performance ideally is a memorized show, so the more you learn beforehand the easier the memorization will be!
