ANNUAL APPEAL 2026-27

The Annual Appeal Fund from the PTA aims to elevate and enrich our students’ school experiences. We aim to raise $10 per student but any amount is appreciated. Donations benefit all Urban Assembly Maker students. All families have a say in how donated funds are used by exercising a vote at our monthly PTA meeting. Maker families and friends help make it happen.

Urban Assembly Maker Academy Parent Teacher Association is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and will provide a receipt for your tax deductible donation as applicable by law.

What we are asking for an academic calendar of 180 days equals just .05 cents per school day or less than a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich a week. Please give the most meaningful donation amount you can.

The purpose of this annual fundraiser is to fill budget gaps in the following areas:

Enrichments, technology or supplies used inside and outside of the classroom.
College Prep including campus visits
Health & Wellness- Food /Clothing/ Essentials for those facing insecurity
Community Meals & Events
Senior Yearbooks
Parent Engagement & PTA operating expenses

Do you work for a large corporation? Do you know your company policy on philanthropic giving? In a few steps, you can check to see if your company will financially match your gift and increase your impact. Here’s what you can do:

Step 1: Contact your employer’s Human Resources department to see if they offer a matching gift program to increase your donation.

Step 2: Your Human Resources department will point you in the right direction and let you know if you need to fill out any necessary forms, process, and be aware of submission deadlines. Provide your employer with our EIN# 35-2922776 or request a tax-exempt certificate if necessary.

Step 3: Once you have submitted your matching gift request form or if you have any questions about the process, please contact us at uamakerpa@gmail.com.

The kids and families will be forever grateful.
