This summer, participants at Place to Be Me aren't just going to camp, they're finding confidence, friendship, and a place where they truly belong. Traditional camps aren't always accessible, inclusive, or affordable. At Place to Be Me, we change that.

Our Summer Camp programs are thoughtfully designed to meet each camper where they are, socially, emotionally, and physically; so every child can participate fully, feel successful and have FUN!

We invite you to be a part of this incredible journey by sponsoring a camper. PTBM welcomes 30 campers per day and 60% of those campers attend for free or at a reduced cost.

A day at camp means more than activities. It means feeling included. And you can help make that happen.💛

$40 gives one camper a day of support and success
$160 gives one camper a full week to grow and connect
$320 gives two campers a place to belong
$800 gives five campers a week they’ll remember forever

Place to Be Me, Children's Dispensary Programs is a not for profit organization that provides social, educational, and recreational programs serving individuals, age 6+ with developmental and/or physical disabilities.

At Place to Be Me, we believe that everyone, regardless of ability, deserves a safe, fun, and enriching camp experience. Our specialized programs provide children and adults with disabilities a place to grow, connect, and thrive.

OUR PROGRAMS

Place to Be Me Weekly Programs (September - May) - This social and recreational program allows for interaction while individuals of all abilities experience fun in physical activities such as bowling, swimming, games, music, art, and group activities. Programming is held Monday and Wednesday evenings and on some Saturday mornings.

Place to Be Me Summer Camp (June - July) Camp includes exciting days jam-packed with fun! From arts and crafts and culinary arts activities to field trips and more.

Adult Program - Meets twice per month for outings in the community.
