5th Annual "Pups in the Park"

Join the Wellesley Rotary Club for a Tail-Wagging Day Out!

Join us during “Wellesley Wonderful Weekend" for a late afternoon of fun, frolic, and furry friends at Hunnewell Field. For a donation of just $20 per dog, you can register your beloved canine companion in a contest where they could win titles like 'Cutest Pup', 'Biggest Ears', or 'Best Kisser'!

Kids activities include face painting, photo booth and live music. Food will be available from Oath Pizza and Frosty Ice Cream. A Pups Cafe, "La Vie en Pooch" will also serve our furry friends.

The Wellesley Rotary Club, known for its dedication to addressing food insecurity, supporting education, and enhancing our environment, is thrilled to organize this paw-some twist to our community efforts: the Pups in the Park fundraiser!

It's not just about the accolades—every penny of your registration fee supports the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW). The IFAW is at the forefront of animal welfare, providing food, shelter, and medical care to animals affected by conflicts and disasters worldwide.

Whether you're entering your pup in the contest or coming to enjoy the spectacle, your participation is a direct support to animal welfare efforts globally. Last year, the proceeds of the sponsor support allowed the event to raise and give $4,000 to help animal welfare.

Donations are matched by Rotary Club of Wellesley. Last year, we raised and donated more than four thousand dollars for our furry friends.

Special Raffle - Drawing at Pups in the Park

One lucky student will win a special ride to school on the first day of the new school year with Officer DiCenso amd her famous partner, Winnie the dog! Arrive at school in style and kick off the school year with a story every kid will want to hear. Raffle Tickets - $10 each or three for $25.

The event is organized by Rotary Club of Wellesley, in Cooperation with Wellesley Celebrations Committee and Friends of Wellesley Veterans.

All proceeds -- with 100 percent of the registration fees -- donated to IFAW.org -- International Fund for Animal Welfare. None of the proceeds go to support Wellesley Wonderful Weekend activities or the Friends of Wellesley Veterans.
