Back by popular demand! Putts for Pearl returns in 2026 for another round of competition and comradery as we gather together to raise money for the Pearl Cares Foundation and the community it serves. This tournament will take place on Monday May 11th at the beautiful Idaho Falls Country Club.

This special event during Mental Health Awareness month benefits the Pearl Cares Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting mental health initiatives for those right here in our community. Of the funds raised, a portion will go towards supporting suicide prevention initiatives. With your participation, we can make a meaningful difference for those in need.

Last year, we used a portion of the funds to start a program to help veterans and first responders receive mental healthcare. You can read about the new program in our recap.

Here's what's in store:

18 holes of golf at one of East Idaho’s premier courses.
Delicious lunch and refreshments provided for all participants.
Exciting prizes and giveaways to celebrate your swing.
The chance to make a real impact in our community.

NEW THIS YEAR:

We are introducing an additional way to compete! You can now start a fundraising campaign to compete with the rest of the participants as a team to see how much money you can raise. This is perfect for those who aren't as good at golf but still want to see their names at the top of the leaderboard! Click on the button next to the 'Team Members' section to get signed up.

FAQs

Why are you asking for tips?
- Tips are a part of the Givebutter platform that we have switched to. These tips are completely optional and go to Givebutter to help fund the platform and keep it free for everyone to use. Though it might be frustrating to be asked to provide a tip when checking out, we chose this platform because we wanted to put the power in your hands to decide how much you wanted to contribute rather than locking you into a 5% mandatory platform fee while we are still required to spend thousands behind the scenes. While they are optional, we strongly encourage tipping.
- If you would like to not tip: select the dropdown on the payments page, select 'other,' and then type in zero.

What is the format of the tournament?
The tournament will be played in a Four-Person Scramble format. This means that each team consists of four players. All players tee off on each hole, then the team selects the best shot. From there, all four players hit from that spot, and the process continues until the ball is holed.
