Help Hawaiʻi’s Keiki See, Hear, and Smile Clearly – Sponsor a School Screening Today!

Free vision, hearing, and dental screenings for Title 1 school children – because every keiki deserves the tools to learn and thrive.

Aloha!

Mahalo for visiting our campaign. Through our Keiki Screening Program, we bring free vision, hearing, and dental screenings directly to public schools across Hawaiʻi—focusing on Title 1 schools where families face the biggest barriers to care. Last year alone, we served over 30,000 students, helping catch issues early so keiki can focus in class instead of struggling to see the board, hear the teacher, or deal with tooth pain.

Too often, children are mislabeled with "behavioral problems" when the real issue is something simple and fixable: uncorrected vision, mild hearing loss, or untreated dental decay. These barriers lead to absenteeism, lower grades, and lost confidence—but your support changes that.

Why this matters in Hawaiʻi:

~70% of third graders have experienced tooth decay (one of the highest rates in the U.S.), with many cases untreated and causing pain that keeps kids home from school.
Uncorrected vision affects up to 1 in 4 children, impacting reading and learning—Hawaiʻi lacks a comprehensive statewide screening program, leaving many keiki at risk.
Hearing issues affect classroom participation and development, often going undetected without school-based checks.

Our mobile units go right to Hawaii public schools providing quick, non-invasive screenings and referrals for follow-up care (glasses, hearing aids, dental treatment). Early intervention means brighter futures for our community’s children.
