As we prepare to celebrate the 2nd Annual PYTMI Awards, we’re looking back on an incredible year of creativity, community, and theatre—and looking ahead to everything still to come.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 before the PYTMI Awards on September 19 to support the next chapter of Professional Youth Theatre of Michigan.

At PYTMI, we believe every young person deserves a place where they can create, belong, take risks, and discover what they’re capable of. Throughout the year, hundreds of young performers join us for full-scale productions, summer camps, classes, workshops, Teen Company events, and other opportunities designed to help them grow both onstage and off.

But ticket sales and participation fees alone don’t cover the full cost of creating these experiences.

Your donation helps us keep PYTMI accessible while supporting the many pieces that make youth theatre possible—from production expenses, costumes, sets, and performance spaces to scholarships, educational programming, and the artists and teaching professionals who make our programs happen.

Whether you give $10, $25, $50, $100, or more, every contribution moves us closer to our $5,000 goal.

The PYTMI Awards are a chance to celebrate everything our students have accomplished during the past season. This fundraiser is a chance to invest in everything they’ll accomplish next.
