Story

All of us at the Eliot School are so grateful for your ongoing support of our work and invite you to consider making a special celebration gift this year.

To honor Executive Director Abigail Norman’s 17 years of transformative leadership at the Eliot School we are asking you to make your usual donation to the annual fund and an additional gift to a scholarship fund in her name. Abigail’s dream is for the Scholarship Fund to allow half of our young students to attend Eliot School classes for free—truly embodying our mission to ensure “lifelong learning in craft and creativity for all” continues beyond her tenure.

While we rely on your regular annual gift to make sure we can continue to support our programs (Teen Bridge, School & Community Partnerships, Artist in Residence, Career Pathways in Carpentry & Craft, our Summer Concert Series, and much more!), your donation above and beyond your regular annual contribution is a way to thank Abigail for all she has done during her time at the Eliot School.

Will you help us reach our goal of raising at least $100,000 to create the Abigail Norman Scholarship Fund and ensure more young students can continue to develop their craft

We hope you will join us in making a special gift and creating a lasting legacy to honor all that Abigail has done and stood for during her time leading the Eliot School.

With gratitude,

Melony Swasey, Chair, Board of Trustees

Jamie Day, Chair, Development & Communications Committee
