This course will examine the key historical milestones of Islamic civilization, the remarkable contributions of Muslim scholars to science, medicine, mathematics, and philosophy, and the lasting impact of Islam on global culture and society.

This course is designed for both general community members and students pursuing the Qurtuba Certificate Program, offering an accessible yet academically rigorous overview of Islam’s history and its lasting contributions to humanity.
