Join us under the Mother Oak for Sunland-Tujunga Indigenous Peoples Day 2024. Presenters include: Tina Calderón, the Chumash Sisters, and more! Workshops on: yucca cordage, Mesoamerican music, native pigments A Plant Learning Walk and native planting Enjoy Fry Bread and Oaxaqueño food All ages welcome and the event is free to enter. Please note this is a wild place with poor cell reception; please bring cash for food and vendors. There will be on-site and overflow parking.
