MISSION

NewFlex Youth Programs Inc. is committed to the positive development of youth through mentoring, leadership, STEM programs, sports and physical wellness, self-esteem initiatives, and beauty pageants. Founded in 2008, we serve school-age children from elementary through high school across Westchester and New York, with a special focus on low- and moderate-income families who have limited access to after-school opportunities.

Our after-school programs—ranging from Hoops and Mentoring to STEM learning and Self-Esteem workshops—engage youth during critical hours, providing structured, supportive environments that foster leadership, character, academic focus, teamwork, and personal growth. We also emphasize the importance of physical wellness through sports, helping youth build healthy habits that will last a lifetime. Many of our families face barriers such as limited childcare options, and we address these needs by offering safe, consistent programming where youth can thrive emotionally, physically, and academically.

Through initiatives like Hooping to College, NewFlex provides monthly trips that expose youth to college campuses, where they can form relationships with student-athletes and mentors. These experiences help them envision futures beyond their current circumstances, showcasing pathways to success through education and sports. Additionally, we are proud to offer programs focused on Self-Esteem and Beauty Pageants, which empower young people to build confidence and celebrate their unique qualities.

Since our founding, NewFlex has partnered with schools, administrators, volunteers, and interns from colleges studying education, sports management, business, and more, to deliver high-impact programs. With nearly two decades of experience, we continue to evolve and expand our offerings, seeking larger funding opportunities, including federal grants, to sustain and grow our mission. Our goal is to equip every child with the support, knowledge, and exposure they need to realize their full potential in leadership, education, physical wellness, and beyond.
