ABOUT QUEENS ARISE:

Did you know that 70% of Human Trafficking survivors do not have a stable income and fall under the poverty line within two years of escape? Typically, after a survivor finds an exit from Human Trafficking, they are initially provided with a recovery program. However, what happens once the survivor has finished their programs and is ready to begin living independently?

Many struggle to find consistent employment with a livable wage and safe conditions due to gaps in their resume, lack of education, or a record, all of which are often direct results of their trafficking situation. These incredibly brave individuals, who have overcome such horrible conditions, are then forced to struggle every day to provide for their families. Some even feel that they have no other choice than to re-enter their trafficking situation.

The Queens of Digital Marketing are working tirelessly to help bridge this gap.

The Queens of Digital Marketing is a network for professional women in Digital Marketing that offers an educational program and mentorship from our members to Human Trafficking survivors, empowering them to achieve economic independence and sustainable careers.

Since we began our journey as a nonprofit just three years ago, we have helped FIFTEEN human trafficking survivors become experts in Digital Marketing with our year-long scholarship program. As part of the original program, we equipped our survivors with essential professional tools, including new computers, reliable wifi, desks, chairs, and headsets. We conducted weekly meetings with industry experts focused on key areas like job readiness, resumé building, critical thinking, affiliate marketing, and mental health. This comprehensive support ensured that every survivor not only gained knowledge but also developed the confidence and skills necessary to secure stable employment.

As our program has grown, we have expanded our educational offerings to better match our students’ needs and interests.

Our program is now divided into three comprehensive tracks.

The Digital Marketing & Media Buying track provides training in Meta Ads, Google Ads, Pay-Per-Call strategies, and more, offering certification opportunities to support career advancement.
The Social Media Management track helps survivors master platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and tools like Canva, Hootsuite, and Meta Business Suite, preparing participants to become social media experts.
The Telecommunications: Customer Service & Inside Sales track introduces survivors to the world of customer service and sales. These three tracks empower survivors with the tools they need to thrive in the modern workforce.

As of now, SEVEN of our survivors have full-time employment in the Digital Marketing industry, including positions at our new call center, Queens Calls! We recently opened this call center in conjunction with our Telemarketing: Customer Service & Inside Sales track, providing survivors with immediate income while introducing them to another facet of marketing from the ground up as agents. Our long-term goal is to partner with recovery programs by opening micro call centers within their facilities, extending the employment opportunity to their participants as they complete their program.

We need your help to enroll more survivors and continue to provide them with the education, mentorship, and essential equipment they need, ensuring that every student has a chance to find full-time employment leading to financial independence and sustainable careers.

With your monthly support or one-time donation, you can help us provide more scholarships to Human Trafficking survivors interested in pursuing a career in Digital Marketing. As our organization grows, we aim to help more and more survivors find economic independence and safety in the lives of these courageous women.

We are so humbled and thankful to have received the level of support that has allowed us to truly make a difference in the lives of these amazing ladies. It is our greatest hope and wish to continue expanding so that we may help 100% of Human Trafficking survivors have a stable income and never fall under the poverty line after their escape.

Every contribution makes an impact and we are so grateful to have such a fantastic, encouraging community!
