What a joy to welcome and nurture a child! Parenthood for the first, or however many times, can be a different experience with each passing day for most families.

Power Inc. Community in partnership with Remnant Faith Center of Garner, NC presents Project Harmony- a community wide initiative to supply expecting , adoptive and foster parents with newborns and children up to 3 years of age, with the supplies and resources needed to make the first few months and years a little easier.

Within the Raleigh/ Durham communities, there is an abundant need for pre- and post-natal assistance within the single parent community. Our intention in hosting a community wide shower, is to assist in bridging the gap between parents and young children and financial, medical, and social support. Project Harmony is a community initiative that supplies necessities and resources to single, married, foster and adoptive expecting parents and children up to 12 months and single, married, foster and adoptive parents with children between the ages of 1 to 3 years. We hope our efforts reach as many families in abundance as possible, in that it may lessen any worries in the preparedness of welcoming a new loved one or maintaining a healthy living environment for existing children.
