Do you ever wonder: “Is Queer Liberation Library for silly spicy romance or serious queer theory?” Well we’ve built a library that can do both. At QLL we like our smut with a side of theory. A little trans history in the morning with a nightcap of gay hockey boys. A binary? In our library? I think not!

So this pride help QLL give you range!

Since launching in 2023 QLL has grown to 190,000 members. That makes QLL the largest independent LGBTQ+ library in the United States. QLL is primarily donor-funded and when you dig deep every June those generous donations keep the free e-books and audiobooks flowing all year round. More donation means more new titles, more copies, and, yes, shorter wait times!

So please pretend like we’re the hottest drag king or queen you’ve ever seen and throw us some dollars if you’re able. QLL thinks you’re smart and hot and we love you!

Have you ever wished you could choose a book to add to the QLL collection? Well, this Pride Fundraiser, you can!

This year, once again you can create a Fundraising Team to select a book to add to the QLL collection! If you’d like to be a team leader, you can click "Fundraise" above to create a team. Then, you and your friends can work together to pool your donations to the fundraiser and win the ability to choose a title to be added to the QLL collection.

There are three requirements for the book choice:

The title must be available in OverDrive for us to purchase
The title must align with our Collection Development Policy
Your team must fundraise $300 to select a title

You get to choose the title and the format. You could also opt to add another copy of a book that’s already in the collection. If your team manages to double it and get $600 - well that’s a second book you and your team get to select!

Team Leaders will be contacted in July/August to make their selections on behalf of their team.
