Supporting Our Winter Guard—On and Off the Floor

Winter Guard is more than flags, rifles, and choreography. It’s a place where students discover confidence, discipline, creativity, and belonging.

Our Winter Guard students train for months to bring powerful stories to life through movement and music. They learn to trust one another, to work through setbacks, to perform under pressure, and to take pride in something bigger than themselves. For many of them, Winter Guard becomes their community—the place they feel seen, supported, and inspired.

But behind every performance is a reality most people don’t see.

Running a Winter Guard program requires significant resources. Your support helps cover essential costs such as:

Equipment (flags, rifles, sabres, practice gear)
Uniforms & costumes that help tell each season’s story
Transportation to rehearsals and competitions
Competition entry fees
Food & hydration on long rehearsal and performance days

These expenses add up quickly, and we never want finances to be the reason a student can’t participate.
