Giving Tuesday 2022 (November 29) is upon us and R4 has set a goal to create a team of 50 PANDAs (Partners in Advancement Nurturing Determined Adventurers) between now and December 3, 2022. Would you consider helping us achieve that goal?
Why is this important? Did you know that one in five households in the US is caring for a child with special needs? Shocking, isn't it? Many families tend to live in the shadows, because they are generally not understood and don't really feel accepted or welcomed in most situations. The safest place is home. It's very isolating, lonely and overwhelming at times for the caregivers. They love their children more than anything, but they need help. They need support. They need community.
That's where you come in! Your monthly gift of $30 will create opportunities for over 200 of those isolated families across the county to join R[4] Retreat Center at a family retreat.
What are R[4] Family Retreats? They are incredible times of fun, community, respite, inclusion, and memories at camp facilities in North Texas, Northern Kentucky and Southwest Michigan for families who have children with special needs (Determined Adventurers).
By sharing your gift of $30 a month, you are personally sponsoring our campers so they can get away in God's creation to meet others who understand them, embrace them and love them just as they are, no strings attached! You have the power to provide rest, restoration, renewal and rapha (healing) for so many just with your generous gift of $30 a month.
